José Pizarro's first gastropub, The Swan Inn is a modern pub with boutique rooms, found opposite a pretty green between Esher and Claygate.
José Pizarro The Swan Inn is the fourth restaurant in José Pizarro’s repertoire. The Surrey pub has a typical British pub feel, but in true José style serves delicious Spanish classics using the best Spanish ingredients alongside locally sourced produce.
For thirsty guests there is a wide selection of British real ales, draught beers, big gin and tonics with a wonderful collection of Spanish and European wines. During the summer weekends the barbeques are fired up in our beautiful garden terrace for a true taste of grilled tapas classics alfresco. In the winter months you can cosy up next to our log fireplace or garden fire pit.
We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, providing them with a bowl of water on arrival. Bring your puppies with you!
Meet up with friends in the warmth of your local pub for a special occasion. Our group set menus have something to suit all your group and this year we feature the Pollo a la Catalana as the main course to share with your loved ones. Menus from £35 per person. Book our private dining room for up to 20 guests now. Group set menus must be pre ordered prior the visit.

Join us every Sunday for a roast with the José Pizarro twist. All our delicious roasts are cooked on open-fire, this is the Roast Spanish duroc loin of pork with Yorkshire pudding, honey and pimentón, cabbage with donostiarra and chard with orange... It’s a traditional roast with a Spanish touch!
