José Pizarro's first gastropub, The Swan Inn is a modern pub with boutique rooms, found opposite a pretty green between Esher and Claygate.
José Pizarro The Swan Inn is the fourth restaurant in José Pizarro’s repertoire. The Surrey pub has a typical British pub feel, but in true José style serves delicious Spanish classics using the best Spanish ingredients alongside locally sourced produce.
For thirsty guests there is a wide selection of British real ales, draught beers, big gin and tonics with a wonderful collection of Spanish wines and Champagne. During the summer weekends the barbeques are fired up in our beautiful garden terrace for a true taste of grilled tapas classics alfresco. In the winter months you can cosy up next to our log fireplace. In the winter months don’t let the cold stop you. You can enjoy The Swan Inn all year round in our covered and heated Garden Room.
We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, providing them with a bowl of water on arrival. Bring your puppies with you!
Gather friends or colleagues in the warmth of The Swan Inn for a special occasion or business meeting. Our group set menus start from £35 per person and feature tapas classics such as daily changing croquetas as well as our famous main dish, Canelón de pollo y cerdo, traditional Catalan canelón with chicken and pork. If you’re looking for something more intimate, our private dining room can seat up to 20 guests and is available for all kinds of gatherings. Please note that group set menus must be pre-ordered.

Join us Monday to Thursday from 12pm – 4pm for our Spanish Tapas Lunch and enjoy three delicious authentic tapas dishes per person for £18.95. For a true taste of Spain book a table to experience our Tapas and Paella Dinner Experience, available every Monday and Tuesday from 5pm which includes three delicious tapas dishes of your choice followed by a large paella to share for £41.90 for two. Please note that both the tapas lunch and tapas and paella dinner experience will be unavailable between Monday the 2nd of December and Monday the 6th of January.

Join us every Sunday for a traditional roast at José Pizarro The Swan Inn. Our delicious roast lamb and pork are cooked specially for you between 12pm and 4pm. Pork belly & rolled Lamb breast with herbs are served with Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, cabbage, carrots and uniquely crafted homemade gravy!
