Where it all started. Opened in 2011, José Tapas Bar is a cult-favourite Spanish tapas restaurant known for its vibrant, no-bookings atmosphere. Inspired by the bustling tapas bars around La Boquería market in Barcelona and traditional spots across Andalucía, José is informal, lively, and made for squeezing in.

Our daily changing menu is written on blackboards and shaped by what looks best at the market each day, paired with 50 Spanish wines and sherries by the glass.

If it’s great tasting, great value, flavour-packed tapas you’re after, then you’ve come to the right place. José is rustic and ‘no-frills’, with an open kitchen, a counter, high level seating and a bustling atmosphere – but that’s all part of the appeal. The Acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico is a must.
