Pizarro, one of the most renowned Spanish chefs in the United Kingdom and the architect of the distribution of our culinary culture in the country, received the Order of Isabel la Catholica in recognition of his work in building bridges between Spain and the United Kingdom through its cuisine.
The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, gave him the well-deserved distinction, congratulating Pizarro on his 25 years in the United Kingdom and praising his food and his spirit of self-improvement.
José Pizarro thanked him for the award and praised Spanish gastronomy for the quality and simplicity of its products, which he uses in his dishes.
